On the 27th of October, when the School of Oinousses celebrated the National Anniversary of OXI, student awards were given by the JOHN D. PATERAS foundation to students of all school classes and the Navy Academy, rewarding their performance for the academic year of 2014-2015.
Specifically awards were given to:
- 16 students of Primary school
- 27 students of Middle school and High school and
- 12 students of the Navy Academy
Afterwards, the students of all school classes and the Navy Academy lodged wreaths at the statue IROO.
The celebrations for the 28th of October peaked the next day with the thanksgiving at the Temple of Saint Nicolas.
